Jump Canada Presents a Commemorative DVD of 1968 Olympic Team Gold Medal Performance

Ottawa, ON --- Jump Canada is pleased to present “Jumping in to History—Canada’s Journey to Equestrian Gold” commemorative DVD of Canada’s 1968 Olympic Gold Medal performance featuring the members of the Gold Medal Team: Tom Gayford, Jim Elder and Jim Day.

Narrated by CBC’s Scott Russell, the story will take you on the 20-year quest for Gold by Gayford, Elder and Day that culminated in Mexico City in 1968.

The voices of the Olympians themselves will take you every step of the way to their improbable win against the greatest equestrian nations in the world. Hear the remarkable story of the 1956 Bronze Medal in Stockholm, and see what happened at the incredible three-day-event competition in Mexico City.

• 1968 three-day-event cross-country—the story of the day the heavens opened and the rain came down on the cross-country portion of the three-day-event, and

• animated course of the Nations’ Cup in Mexico City with commentary by Elder and Day describing the incredibly difficult course conquered by Canada.
