Canadian Finals Rodeo salutes the Canadian Military

Edmonton, AB – Northlands is proud to honour the commitment and service of the Canadian Military on Friday, November 13, at Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR).
In addition to a special opening ceremony with military participation, rodeo fans are encouraged to wear red as a show of support.
Ken Knowles, President of Northlands, said, “At Northlands, we are proud to honour the commitment and sacrifice of the men and women of the military. Friday’s CFR performance will be an opportunity to recognize these members of our community that truly put their country first.”
Over two hundred troops and their families will be in attendance for the Friday performance courtesy of Budweiser.
Blaine Kulak, Marketing Manager – Budweiser said, “We are pleased to donate these tickets to the men and women that serve our country. Budweiser is proud to be a part of the Edmonton community and we hope that the members of military and their families enjoy the hospitality of Canadian Finals Rodeo.”
“Northlands is pleased to partner with both Budweiser and Global Edmonton in honoring the military,” Knowles added.
Guests attending Farmfair International are also encouraged to wear red on Friday, November 13, in support of saluting the military.
Representatives from the Military Family Resource Centre will also be at CFR in the TELUS booth selling red shirts. Rodeo fans can also send messages of encouragement and support to our troops by signing the banners that will be available.
