Free Admission to the Upcoming Fairfield County Hunt Club Horse Show, June 22-26, 2010 in Westport, Connecticut

WESTPORT, CT --- The upcoming Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit Horse Show, June 22-26, 2010, open to the public with no admission fees, offers spectators the opportunity to experience the thrilling sport of show jumping up close and personal at the show's two featured show jumping classes.
The culminating event is the $25,000 Grand Prix on Saturday, June 26, 2010, presented by Wells Fargo Advisors and George N. Venizelos. Spectators and exhibitors are also welcome to attend the EQUUS Benefit Luncheon held in conjunction with the Grand Prix and enjoy a champagne reception, silent auction, and delicious buffet while watching world class riders and horses navigating over the highest level obstacles at racehorse speeds.
On Thursday, June 24, 2010, the top junior and amateur jumper riders will vie for top honors at 4:00 p.m. in the $10,000 Amateur-Owner/Junior Jumper Classic, which will be followed by the show's Exhibitor Party at 5:30 p.m.
Rated "AA", the uppermost horse show rating, and regarded as one of the most prestigious and beautiful shows in the country, the five-day show offers over 200 classes in which national and local equestrians of all ages compete, social activities and shopping at the show's Paddock Boutique. Held on the grounds of the Fairfield County Hunt Club located at 174 Long Lots Road in Westport, Connecticut, spectators can take advantage of the full service food and beverage concession offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
The "Paddock Boutiques" include Charles Ancona Designs; CR Designs; Jim Dratfield's Petrography; Dubarry of Ireland; EQUUS Entries Jewelry; Self Images, Portraits by Deborah Howland-Murray; The Kitchen Sink Bag; Laszlo Accessories; Luv Rocks Jewelry; Palm Classic Apparel; Patricia's Presents; Pause Dog Boutique; Snappy Gator; and Witchy Poo. The EQUUS Foundation will also operate a boutique throughout the week and a silent auction at its Saturday Luncheon held in conjunction with the Grand Prix.
